CNC Operator / Programmer Apprenticeship Program

Our CNC Machinist Apprenticeship program is a 5-year program where your classes are taught on-site during business hours. Earn while you learn!

Apprentice Course Schedule

Year 1

• MFG 122 Machine Trade Print Reading – 3 credits, 12 weeks, 4 hours per week
• MFG 302 CNC Fundamentals – 3 credits, 8 weeks, 12 hours per week
• MAT 772 Applied Math – 3 credits, 12 weeks, 4 hours per week

Year 2

• MFG 211 Basic Machine Theory – 2 credits, 8 weeks, 4 hours per week
• MFG 157 Intro to CNC Programming – #1, 2 credits, 8 weeks, 4 hours per week
• MFG 158 Intro to CNC Programming - #2, 2 credits, 8 weeks, 4 hours per week
• MFG 142 Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing – 3 credits, 12 weeks, 4 hours per week

Year 3

• MFG 335 CNC Operations – 3 credits, 12 weeks, 8 hours per week
• MFG 214 Advanced Machine Theory – 2 credits, 8 weeks, 4 hours per week

Year 4

• MFG 222 machine Operations #1 – 4 credits, 16 weeks, 8 hours per week

• MFG 525 CMM Inspection and SPC – 3 credits, 16 weeks, 5 hours per week

2000 hours of work-based learning / per year toward the Journeymen Certificate

GMT Welding Apprentice Program

Learn how to weld in as little as 60 days. Continuing education from novice to expert. OSHA10 certified, lean blueprint reading, and work with our best production welders for certification and earn a certificate of completion from the Department of Labor.
